Join us for a *FREE* transformative evening exploring coercive control and the importance of healthy relationships.
Coercive control, a subtle yet harmful dynamic, can undermine connections and well-being, but understanding its signs empowers us to build relationships grounded in respect and trust. With recent Massachusetts legislation addressing coercive control in restraining order hearings, this event will inform our community of how the new legislation has been designed and highlights our collective responsibility to foster awareness and support.
Featuring insights from the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, HAWC (Healing Abuse Working for Change), and a youth panelist, the discussion will explore the challenges of recognizing coercive control and pathways to nurturing respectful relationships.
Presented in partnership with the Beverly Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, HAWC, and the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, this event includes access to resources and an opportunity for questions with representatives.
Together, let’s create a community where love, respect, and understanding flourish.
