About this Event

Planning to attend the Revolution Ball and want some practice? Just interested in historical dance? Join Commonwealth Vintage Dancers in Hamilton Hall’s beautiful third-floor supper room to learn colonial dances, including “Cat in Pattens” and “Garland of Roses.”
Two dance lessons will be offered leading up to the Ball: February 9, and February 16, both from 6-8pm.
You do not need to be attending the Revolution Ball in order to purchase tickets to the dance lessons.
Attendees for the lessons are welcome to bring dancing shoes and wear comfortable clothes that allow easy movement. Each lesson will include time to warm up, receive expert instruction, and practice the dances with music.
Guests can purchase a ticket for only one lesson, or receive a discounted price for attending both.
Get your dancing shoes on and get in the spirit of Rev250!
Many thanks to Commonwealth Vintage Dancers. More information about the great events planned for Leslie’s Retreat weekend (February 22-23) by the Leslie’s Retreat SR Steering Committee can be found at https://www.salem400.org/
Accessibility note: Hamilton Hall is a Nationally Registered Historic Building without an elevator and is not currently wheelchair accessible.
