CURRENCY is an 11-member powerhouse music collective from Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA.

Beginning as students in Pingree’s highest-level APEX Music Ensemble, they have evolved into a close-knit band of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists, blending technical skill, creative energy, and authentic passion for performance.

Known for their tight musicianship and lively stage presence, CURRENCY performs as a full band, in small groups, and as soloists. They are regular performers in and around the Pingree community, bringing original songs and inventive covers to life. Each member contributes their own style and talent, creating a collaborative sound that is as diverse as it is unified.

Driven by a shared love for making music, CURRENCY is more than just a school band–they’re a community of artists eager to share their sound beyond the classroom. Whether writing new material, reimagining classic hits, or performing for their peers, Currency embodies the spirit of creativity and connection through music.
