Joppa Dance Company presents…
Sisters of the Storm

Joppa, founded in 1983, is a noncompetitive, nonprofit 501c3 that focuses on the creative process. Dancers from Joppa 2, (middle school), up choreograph their own pieces in small groups for performances. This allows each dancer to explore her own vision and style when developing choreography. It’s all about creative freedom and expression.
Joppa groups are formed as follows:
Joppa Jr. – Grades 4-6
Joppa 2 – Grades 7&8
Joppa T2/Teen – Grades 9-12
Joppa presents annual holiday & spring performances at the Firehouse Center.
The company also travels with PAE (Performing Arts Educators) for dance showcases in New York’s Lincoln Center & Carnegie Hall, and throughout Europe. Joppa has performed in Scotland, Spain, Italy and Greece!
Joppa’s spring performance features contemporary, modern, jazz, and ballet techniques.
