Join Board President of The Gables Ken Turino and historian Chris Mathias for a walking tour of Nahant, MA.
On this tour, members will learn about the Hawthorne, Longfellow, and Plath, along with lesser-known poets of Lynn. Did you know that Nahant and Nahant Beach are mentioned several times in Hawthorne’s short story, The Village Uncle from Twice-Told Tales? Ken and Chris will also discuss the national and local artists that painted the beautiful islands of Nahant.
