SUMMARY:Pieces of Salem : Mini-Marathon Reading
DESCRIPTION:Stop by Old Town Hall to hear voices from across Salem share stories and poems about the city. This event features local residents reading their contributions to Pieces of Salem: An Anthology of Salem Voices\, a book edited by Salem Poet Laureate\, J.D. Scrimgeour\, to commemorate the city’s 400th anniversary. The readers range from 9 to 90\, from award-winning writers to first-time poets. \n  \nThere will be three 1-hour sessions\, at 12:30 pm\, 1:30 pm\, and 2:30 pm. All will have different readers. Attendees are welcome to stay for as long as they wish. \nMini-Marathon Readings will take place: \nSaturday\, July 18\nSaturday\, July 25\nSunday\, August 2 \nDifferent readers will be featured at each event.
