Get Ready to “Let It Go!” – Disney’s Frozen Premieres at North Shore Music Theatre

Beverly, MA – This summer, Bill Hanney’s award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is bringing a spectacular treat to New England: the regional premiere of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical. Running from July 9 to July 28, 2024, this Tony-nominated musical promises to enchant audiences of all ages with its magical story, unforgettable songs, and breathtaking production.

A Magical Premiere

NSMT is thrilled to be among the first theatres in the country to stage this beloved story. Based on the 2013 Oscar-winning animated film, Frozen tells the tale of Princess Anna’s quest to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have plunged their kingdom into eternal winter. The production will feature all the iconic songs from the film, including “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” along with new numbers by the film’s original composers, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

A Stellar Cast

Bringing this enchanting story to life are Broadway talents Alyssa Fox as Elsa and Celeste Rose as Anna. Fox, known for her role as Elphaba in Wicked, and Rose, acclaimed for her performances in Off-Broadway hits like We Are The Tigers and Unexpected Joy, will lead a cast that includes Elliott Mattox as Olaf, Harris Milgrim as Hans, and Julio Rey as Kristoff. With a talented ensemble of 31 members, the production promises to deliver a truly immersive experience.

Behind the Scenes Magic

Director and choreographer Kevin P. Hill, along with a creative team including music director Milton Granger, scenic designer Kyle Dixon, and costume designer Travis M. Grant, have crafted a unique vision for this production. Audiences can expect stunning new sets and costumes designed specifically for NSMT, along with innovative staging that will make this version of Frozen unlike any other.

Special Performances and Tickets

Performances will take place from July 9 to July 28, with evening shows on Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30 PM, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, and matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 PM.
