Meet the Maker is a new series of features highlighting some of the most amazing makers across the North Shore! We will be featuring a handful of new makers every Monday to hopefully help mitigate the added financial strain that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to the creative community. Follow along on Instagram and Facebook as well!

Describe the things you make/create.

I create candles inspired by the sea and life in a small New England town. Our retail shop is on Bearskin Neck in Rockport. We hand pour our candles in our open-to-the-public candle studio in downtown Rockport, where we also host pour-your-own candle events!

What inspires you?

I am inspired by the sea and life in our little New England town.

How much will the COVID-19 pandemic affect your business financially this month?

Not sure… perhaps $5K

What measures are you taking to reduce lost revenue?

Promoting more online sales since my two retail locations have to be closed, and my wholesale accounts are not ordering.
