Tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
We are a Husband & Wife Wedding DJ and Wedding Photography Team. When you book us for your Wedding, you will be working with a Family of Professionals. Brian is the DJ & MC, Nadine is the Lead Photographer and our son Aidan is our Second Shooter. We have been Married for over 20 years and started working Weddings in 2000. Our bond as a Married couple and our years of experience working Weddings together is a Unique Dynamic that is rare to find in the Wedding industry. Another Unique Quality we have as a Family business is that our son is our Second Shooter. Yes, we are also a Mother & Son Photography Team! Our son grew up watching us work Weddings. When he decided he wanted to pursue Wedding Photography, Nadine taught him how to shoot and edit Weddings. We have such a strong connection as a Family, which makes working together seamless and fun.
We met in April 2000 and have been inseparable ever since. Nadine was a Fashion Design Graduate who was obsessed with all things Cheetah Print, while Brian was the loud, fun and very friendly DJ Cheetah. After dating for 2 Years, Brian Proposed to Nadine on a hill called “The Top Of the World” in Laguna Beach CA. On September 8th, 2002 we got married at The Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach, CA.
Why the name Cheetah? Because Nadine wore Cheetah print and Brian’s DJ name was Cheetah, a mutual friend wanted us to meet each other. We ended up meeting unexpectedly, and this chance meeting one night resulted in us getting married, starting our business together, having kids and legally changing our names to Cheetah.

We decided to start working Weddings because it’s something that we can do together as a couple. We work really well as a team and actually love being together. Being married for over 20 years, we know the flow of how to work weddings together seamlessly.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
Honestly we watch a lot of true crime. The impact that it’s had on us is that we are always like “don’t do this or that . . . remember that episode we watched?” not looking to be the next victim.
Impactful stories for us are ones that involve people who have to fight and work hard to achieve their dreams. We love stories that show people that didn’t get anything handed to them and they made it. We can relate to that and it’s good to see an underdog win.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
We have built our business entirely by ourselves. Through years & years of hard work, we became full-time Wedding Vendors. I guess the surprising part is neither one of us has family. There is no one to help us if we fail. The pressure is always on us to be successful. We are definitely in this together.
