In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
Sanazar Rose is a small art and jewelry brand dedicated to creating handcrafted sterling silver jewelry, art prints and stickers. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully made blending traditional processes with modern alternative style. I am committed to using quality materials and symbolic designs to create deep emotional connections that resonate with my customers. My mission is to inspire confidence and personal style through unique, handcrafted art and jewelry.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
I have always been interested in art ever since I was little. I started drawing consistently in high school, took a jewelry class in college, and decided then that’s what I wanted to pursue as a career. Not only am I able to bring my ideas life, I also love creating other peoples visions as well. Being able to make a custom piece of art or jewelry for someone is an honor and seeing the joy they get from it is one of my favorite things about being an artist.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
I recently read the book “Big Magic” and absolutely loved it. It’s about people who live a creative life and choose curiosity over fear. As an artist who is doing just that, I found this book very inspiring and relatable to the way I approach my life. It’s definitely been a book that I’ve recommended to all of my creative friends and I would recommend it to you too!
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
I create every single piece of jewelry you see by hand using traditional techniques – starting with the wax carving, then lost wax casting, finishing, mold making, wax injection for reproducing designs, stone setting and additional fabrications. Every time I mention that to people at shows, the overwhelming response is “Wow!”
