In your words… Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.

Studio Feron is my art studio. I offer colorful, modern abstract art and goods to the community.

My pieces include paintings, note cards, and other small items.

My artwork is focused around using lots of color (I LOVE color!!) and creating happy, emotional art.

Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do? Share your passions for your business, initiative, organization.

Creativity and art are very important to me. When I create, I aim to evoke emotion, memories, and wonder by using color and composition. I do this through colorful and fluid abstract art.

The process of creating my pieces is as important (if not more) than the finished piece-and I love to share this with my audience. Making the art is where the excitement is!

What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)

Art and creativity make everything better and more interesting! Life would be dull and boring without creative people. I am so proud to live in an area where the surrounding communities integrate and make space for art and artists of all kinds.

In my mind I am bringing happiness and intrigue into people’s lives by providing them with accessible artwork.

What was the last book you read that made an impact on you?

The last book I read that had the BIGGEST impact on me was “The Four Agreements.”

I have the agreements cut out and taped on the wall of my office area and read them every day. They are a great way to keep my life simplified.

What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you our your business?

People are always surprised to find out that I have power tools and a small woodworking shop. I have made built in shelves for our living room, a banquette, a coffee table, my studio tables and more.
