The Improbable Places Poetry Tour Lands in an Unlikely Venue
Have you ever imagined reciting poetry in an airplane hangar? On October 22, 2024, this unusual scenario will become a reality as the Beverly Regional Airport hosts a night of verse as part of The Improbable Places Poetry Tour.
A Unique Poetic Experience
The brainchild of Colleen Michaels, Writing Studio Director at Montserrat College of Art, this tour has been bringing poetry to unexpected locations since 2010. From bike shops to power plants, and from tattoo parlors to Viking ships, the tour has consistently surprised and delighted poetry enthusiasts.
This year, the tour is taking flight – literally – by transforming an airport hangar into a hub of literary expression.
