Painterly Printmaking combines the process of printmaking with the freehand of painting. The class will practice monotype printmaking, stenciling, and image transfers, as well as experiment with various inks, watercolors, paper and fabric.
Summer Youth Print and Book Making
Explore the idea of series through bookmaking. Students in this class will create a series of related images to be bound together in an artist book. Students will hand craft covers and make marbled paper. All materials are included in the program cost.
Summer Drawing Foundations Youth & Teen
Drawing Foundations students will be introduced to drawing basics while also exploring various drawing materials and tools, like pencils, markers, pens, and unconventional materials like sticks, erasers, and hands. Focus will be on observational drawing including people, architecture, landscape and still life.

Summer Youth Fabric Printmaking
Students will learn and use relief print, stencil, and pattern techniques for printing on fabric. In this class they will create two projects, project choices include: T-shirt; drawstring bag; stuffed doll; tea towel. In addition to creating and printing their designs, students will have the opportunity to embellish their projects with embroidery and hand painting.
