Calling all middle schoolers! Are you ready to step behind the camera and bring your creative ideas to life? Join the PYTV Video Production Club and discover the exciting world of media production!

Program Details:

Dates: November 14th – February 21st

Day: Thursdays

Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Location: Peabody TV Studios

Cost: $225 for residents, $235 for non-residents

Scholarships: Available to ensure every student can participate!

What they’ll learn:

Camera Operation – Get hands-on experience with professional video equipment and learn how to frame the perfect shot.

Storyboarding – Plan out scenes and sequences by visualizing ideas before filming begins.

Scriptwriting – Learn the essentials of writing scripts, from developing characters to creating engaging dialogue.

Video Editing – Gain skills in basic video editing and learn how to assemble footage into a polished project.

Podcasting – Explore audio production and discover how to create and record a professional podcast.

Directing – Take charge and lead a production team through the process of shooting scenes and directing actors.

In this club, students will work together on exciting projects, turning their stories and ideas into real media creations. Whether they’re interested in becoming a filmmaker, director, or editor, they’ll have the opportunity to develop essential skills for the future of media production.

This club is a great way to foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, all while having fun with peers who share their passion for video and storytelling.
