Salem MA Wedding is the sister website to Things to do in Salem and is a resource for those planning a wedding in Salem. It is a combination of vendor and venue highlights plus tips and tricks for planning your big day.
Salem, MA is one of the most unique and amazing cities I have ever experienced. The ultimate goal of all that I do is to help others see the city the way that I do. I do this by helping tourists plan their visit as well as working with Salem’s businesses to spread brand awareness and increase visibility.

My ultimate goal in everything I do is to help others see Salem, MA the way that I do. Salem is one of the most unique cities I have ever experienced and working with both tourists and Salem’s businesses has been a dream. I had no idea when I stumbled into the witch city about ten or fifteen years ago how life changing that would be for me. It literally shifted my mindset, changed my life path and altered my career path.
Combining my skills as a content creator and social media manager with my love for Salem was a natural fit and my website grew from a blog into an entire businesses around tourism and niche content creation.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)
One of the main ways what I am able to support Salem’s creative community is by artist and event exposure. I make a point of creating blog entries and calendar entries for all of Salem’s festivals, including, of course, the Salem Arts Festival. I also personally wander the Arts Festival every year with my camera and take pictures to share on my blog and social media platforms. I also do this with the Salem’s So Sweet Festival which is my personal favorite to cover. This helps bring awareness to the community, the events, the artists showcased and more.
I have also featured many of Salem’s artists through a showcase-like series on my blog. This includes artists who contributed to the murals found in the Punto Urban Art Museum, local candle makers, costume makers and more. I myself am a photographer, a web designer, a writer, a graphic artist and a creative soul through and through. I love collaborating and working with other creative souls as well.
What was the last book you read or film you watched that made an impact on you?
A lot of the books I read are about business and personal expansion so I am going to pick a favorite movie instead. I absolutely love Arrival with Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. It has been one of my favorites ever since I first saw it in theaters. At its core it is about language, how we communicate, and learning to understand one another. However it goes much deeper (don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything) into an incredible work of art. The story line, music, color palette and composition leave me with goosebumps every single time I see it.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you our your business?
A fun fact about my business is that I owned the domain names for it for many years before decided what I wanted to create with it. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be a physical guide, a how-to type website, a printable list, etc. One day I decided to just begin building it and never looked back.
A fun fact about me is that I am actually from the pacific northwest. I moved here from outside of Seattle, WA.
