The British Are Coming!
Mark your calendars for September 20-22, 2024, because Cinema Salem is hosting a very special guest – the Cambridge Shakespeare touring company, straight from the halls of Cambridge University in England. Under the patronage of the legendary Dame Judi Dench, these talented young actors will be performing Julius Caesar on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. It’s a rare opportunity to see potential future stars of stage and screen right here in Salem!
A Weekend of Diverse Entertainment
But wait, there’s more! The same weekend will feature an eclectic mix of performances that cater to all tastes:
- A burlesque and drag tribute to Jim Henson (yes, you read that right!)
- A sold-out screening of the 1922 classic “Nosferatu” with a live 12-piece orchestra playing the original score on century-old instruments
- Our traditional late-night screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” – always a wild ride!
Halloween Season Kickoff
