Engage in pop-up conversations with climate advocates, researchers and community leaders inside the exhibition in the “Be the Change” zone on select Saturdays. Ask questions and hear about local and regional efforts to address climate change.
For this session, chat with the Mass Audubon Youth Climate Leadership Program (YCLP), a dynamic initiative driven by young people passionate about climate action. Through partnerships with schools, nonprofits and research institutions, the program fosters learning, dialogue and networking opportunities for youth to develop innovative climate solutions. Over the course of a year, participants engage in immersive experiences, culminating in the creation and implementation of projects within local communities. Mentors support youth in every step of the process, from brainstorming ideas to evaluating project outcomes, empowering them to become effective agents of change in the fight against climate change. PEM and Mass Audubon have partnered to start the North Shore chapter. Now accepting enrollment for fall 2024!
