The Inaugural Panorama Film Festival: A Revolutionary Existence presented by Cinema Salem in partnership with Mutant Kid Creative and Queer Videography will take place on June 16th, 2022 in Salem, Massachusetts.

Panorama is a new short film festival dedicated to giving a platform to LGBTQIA+ youth filmmakers. After receiving 154 submissions and over 30 hours of footage in total, the festival will feature two hours of short films from all over the globe, including submissions queer and trans youth, allies and members of the community under 30.
“This 2022 short film program has made us proud to showcase the limitless ingenuity and dynamism of young queer filmmakers,” said Festival Co-Producer and VP of Programming Ilana Kapra. “Whether it be an enlightening exposé of a hot button societal issue or a heartfelt exploration of love in your teens, this year’s shorts encourage us to pay close attention to emerging voices and the stories that only they could tell.”
Festival Director Mac Allen believes that “The only way to watch the genre of queer cinema grow is by supporting the career of these youth filmmakers. We’re excited to give their voices a platform and we hope the community comes out to watch.”
All non-English films will have subtitles.
