Lynn Walking Shoe Tours were born from the desire to share Lynn’s captivating rich history, vibrant culture and remarkable diversity.
We proudly offer tours in both English and Spanish, making them uniquely accessible to an even broader audience with their bilingual approach.

Michelle Guzman, a longstanding resident of Lynn, is the Founder and CEO of the tours, a private enterprise. Over the years, she uncovered a treasure trove of powerful stories about the city, its people and stories that had been overlooked; and none was talking about them. One pivotal moment occurred when Michelle discovered the restoration of Mary Baker Eddy’s house on Broad St, Lynn. Learning about her story, of Lynn’s pioneers and founder of the Christian Science Church in Boston, became the catalyst that drove Michelle to create these immersive walking tours.
After extensive research to find fascinating narratives, events, and occurrences that shaped Lynn’s past, Michelle carefully crafted walking tours that shares the essence of Lynn’s history and heritage with current culture and diversity that represents modern Lynn.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)
Tourism stands as the third largest industry in MA, and the creation of these tours has opened doors for fruitful collaborations with other organizations sharing the same goal: inviting people to experience Lynn in a whole new light and discover the wonders it has to offer. To do this, a more creative community is important to learn from each other and to expand knowledge, experience and social interaction.
