In your own words, tell us about your business, organization, or initiative.
OSYW is a business and movement that creates conversations, events and media that support the belief that we all have a soul purpose. Redefining stigmas, breaking barriers of normalization and vulnerably communicating- all reinforces the OSYW mission that to enhance education is to spread emotional brilliance. I started OSYW as a podcast but with values like galvanizing and Only Carrying High Integrity- OSYW LLC was formed to encompass the many workshops, events, engagements and future outlets.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
From a young age I knew that I was spiritually enhanced and emotionally tuned in to interests and feelings far beyond my years. After struggling early on with mental wellness, self-harm, manipulation and environmental issues- OSYW was my way of exercising emotional brilliance and mixing it within the multimedia world.
This business was what my younger self needed during many stages of doubt and depression. OSYW would’ve reassured myself like many others that you are not alone in the lows and it is possible to create a business out of purpose even when you feel you don’t “fit in”.
Being able to embrace an authentic self, gave me the confidence to start OSYW LLC. as a young woman without any guidance, experience or financial literacy.
I am passionate about helping all artists, entrepreneurs, youth and individuals embrace vulnerable communication and realize that change comes when hearts and minds are operating based on purpose not just passion.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
The last thing I read that had an impact on me was The War of Art.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
One thing people would be surprised to learn about the business is that it was only a podcast when it was formed as an LLC, OSYW is women-owned AND we are currently releasing Season 3 of the show with over 90+ episodes and counting!
