Score & Slip is a pottery studio hosting classes and one-time workshops. I started S&S after 5+ years of clay experience, most recently managing Indigo Fire in Watertown. We welcome everyone who is interested in pottery, either for one-time or multiple-week classes.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do. Share your passions for your business, organization, or initiative.
My journey with clay began after I took my first throwing class following my graduation from Gordon College, where I studied communication arts and business. I have a passion for spaces that foster creativity, hands-on work, and connections with others, which is why the pottery studio became the perfect environment for me. I served as the former studio manager at Indigo Fire in Watertown. My work is constantly evolving, though I particularly enjoy creating simple forms for everyday use. After living away for a few years, I’m excited to be relocating back to the North Shore.
What is the last thing you read, watched, or listened to that had an impact on you?
E-myth by Michael Gerber.
What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
I was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.
