About Us

Root NS is a innovative nonprofit organization founded in 2016 that combines culinary education with workforce development. Through our 14-week training program, we empower young adults ages 16-26 with professional kitchen skills and essential workplace readiness training. Our social enterprise model includes full-service catering and an event space, providing hands-on experience for trainees while generating sustainable program support.
