It was another fantastic year at the Diversity Matters Festival. Held at Lynn’s picturesque Red Rock Park, this free public celebration was the brainchild of the North Shore Juneteenth Association in collaboration with Save the Harbor Save the Bay.
North Shore Juneteenth Association, known for its commitment to cultural education and community building, outdid itself with this year’s festival. Their vision of an inclusive event that showcases the region’s rich cultural tapestry came to life through a carefully curated program of performances, workshops, and activities.
From the rhythmic beats of Cultura Latina Dance Academy to Michelle La Poetica’s thought-provoking verses, the festival offered a platform for local artists to shine. Food vendors across the North Shore served a delicious array of cuisines, while community organizations provided valuable resources to attendees.
