April 2021 Tasting Schedule

4/6 – 4/10 – France 101 – Of course, the French would claim that they’ve mastered the art of winemaking. Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy – regions so famous, even a layman would know them by name. But, there’s more to be found. From the mediterranean coast, to cold and sunny Alsace, there’s something for everyone in France. Oui oui! Perfect for the francophiles out there.

4/13-4/17 – Malbec – Malbec, Côt, Auxerrois – no matter what you’re calling it, we love it! Malbec clearly communicates the characteristics of where it’s grown. Primarily found in France and Argentina, the grape produces distinctly different wines in both regions. This lineup will show the different faces of the grape and you can determine your favorite.

4/20-4/24 – Island Wines – Jonesing to be on island time? Let’s escape to two of the world’s most famous island terroirs – Sicily, Italy and the Canary Islands of Spain. This week features two winemakers (Girolamo Russo & Dolores Cabrera) from these volcanic islands – wines made on volcanic soils taste kinda… smoky. Who knew? *Staff favorite tasting alert!!

4/27-5/1 – 2020 Rose – Pink wine season is upon us! We all want to put 2020 in the past – but that’s no reason not to drink new releases from the vintage. A shade and style for everyone – pink is our favorite color to sip on in upcoming months. We’lll dispel the myth that pink = sweet – all wines this week will be dry! Come decide what shade of pink you’ll want to drink in the sun of Summer 2021.
