The Salem Pantry Needs Your Help: Join Our Mission to Fight Hunger on the North Shore
As we enter the final weeks of 2024, The Salem Pantry is on an urgent mission to raise $100,000 by December 31st through their Fueling Access Campaign. This critical fundraising effort will help the organization continue providing essential food assistance to thousands of families across the North Shore region in 2025.
This year alone, The Salem Pantry has reached over 9,500 families with fresh, culturally relevant food through their innovative mobile pantries, home delivery program, and The Market. The Salem Pantry is proud to have been named the 2024 Greater Boston Food Bank Community Partner of the Year, but their work is far from over.
The challenge ahead is significant. With rising food costs putting increased pressure on family budgets and uncertainty around key funding sources, including state funds tied to the pending federal Farm Bill, The Salem Pantry needs your support now more than ever.
Your contribution to the Fueling Access Campaign will help the organization:
- Keep their shelves stocked with fresh, healthy, locally sourced food
- Strengthen their partnerships with community organizations to support students, seniors, and other vulnerable populations
- Maintain their role as a vital hub for 20 North Shore food access organizations through their partnership with The Greater Boston Food Bank
Every dollar you donate before December 31st directly impacts The Salem Pantry’s ability to serve more than 29,000 individuals who rely on their services. When you support The Salem Pantry, you’re not just providing food – you’re helping families save crucial dollars on groceries while ensuring they have access to nutritious, abundant food options.
