Real Pirates Salem brings history to life through the world’s only authenticated pirate treasure collection, recovered from the legendary Whydah Gally shipwreck. Founded by underwater explorer Barry Clifford, our museum showcases real artifacts and tells the captivating story of “Black Sam” Bellamy and his crew, connecting visitors to Salem’s rich maritime heritage.
