The North Shore Pride Parade and Festival were on June 22, 2019. This was a particularly special year as it was the 50 year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
The Parade also kicked off a new route, starting at Shetland Park and traveling to Salem Common, as opposed to commencing at Riley Plaza at it did in previous years.
The sun was shining and the crowds were the largest the festival had ever seen, coming out to see one of the most impressive parade participant numbers in North Shore Pride’s history.

The mission of North Shore Pride, Inc is to promote the general welfare and unity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community within the North Shore, and to advocate for the acceptance of the members of the LGBTQ community by the broader North Shore community. The organization engages in activities designed to promote a greater understanding of LGBTQ issues by engaging in fundraising activities and partnering with allied individuals and organizations.
