1. Theme

This year’s sub-theme is inspired by Game of Thrones “Winds of Winter.” The production team will transform the entire first floor with all of its unique rooms, including the Grand Ballroom, into the seven kingdoms. Show off your costume with photo ops in the Iron Throne and a complimentary photo booth experience by Witch Pix.

2. Spectacle

This masquerade is the the ball of your dreams and comes complete with magical elements including lights (and lasers) by Retonica, surprises from professional character actors from Interactive Theatre Company Intramersive, dazzling costumes created and worn by attendees, and an actual dragon…

Well, a sculpted dragon, but it’s about as realistic as you’ll find this close to the wall.

3. Weekend Getaway

Not only can you attend the greatest winter event of the year, but you can also turn it into a weekend getaway by booking a sweet hotel package with event host, the Hawthorne Hotel!

Contact the Hawthorne Hotel directly at 978.744.4080 to reserve a Masquerade Ball room/ticket package.

3. Aerial Performances

This year the Masquerade will feature live performances from aerialist Molly Baechtold. Her high-flying act will awe and bedazzle audiences with her aerial silk performance, inspired by the dragons of Westeros.

5. Dancing

What would a ball be without dancing? Not only will you get to dance to tunes spun by DJ Production Company Phoenix Productions and DJ Seth, but there will be a very special presentation and an hour of dance instruction by the Vintage Commonwealth Dancers at the beginning of the night.

6. Food

Guests can enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and lavish dessert buffets in Nat’s and Tavern on the Green throughout the night. There will also be a cash bar with specialty drinks and cocktails for partygoers.
