The partnership between Lynn Museum and Creative Collective for the Final Fridays project was a collaborative endeavor that brought arts and community engagement to the forefront in Lynn. This project, aptly named “Final Fridays with Lynn Museum/Lynn Arts,” involved a series of events and activities designed to celebrate local culture, art, and community interaction.

The initiative leveraged the strengths of both organizations, with Creative Collective’s expertise in event planning and community outreach. This project was supported by the MassDevelopment Creative Cities Initiative.

Actions

Creative Collective worked with the Lynn Museum and Arts Center to help produce a series of events. Our team employed local creators to support storytelling, promotion, and amplification of all the events. We also supported and mentored the young producer Lynn Museum hired to manage the events using our decades of event production experience to help the project flow smoothly and run more efficiently.


Impact

  • Co-Created a series of dynamic and immersive events highlighting young creators from Lynn and surrounding communities.
  • Hired young creators to assist with documentation and marketing efforts. This included photography, social media coverage and videography.
  • Activated a park in Downtown Lynn and co-created a free and inclusive series of events.
  • Created opportunities for young fashion designers, artisan vendors, performers and community groups.
