Step into a world where beauty meets the macabre and create one-of-a-kind resin art inspired by nature, folklore, oddities, and curiosity.

The Dead Moon Studio returns to Hill House Parlor for a full day of Bones & Beauty resin workshops, with four sessions and two different crafting experiences to choose from. Create a decorative resin magnet during one of our afternoon sessions, design a wearable necklace or ring, or book both experiences for an entire day of gothic creativity.

Each intimate, 90-minute workshop will guide you through the resin-making process from beginning to end. You’ll explore the materials being used, learn helpful tips and techniques for working with UV resin, and watch a step-by-step demonstration before creating a completely unique piece of your own.

No prior resin-making or jewelry-making experience is necessary. All tools, supplies, specimens, and decorative materials will be provided.

Workshop Schedule

12:00 PM–1:30 PM

Resin Magnet Class | $60

Create a one-of-a-kind decorative resin magnet using your choice of natural specimens, dried flowers, color dyes, glitter, gems, and other curious embellishments.

2:00 PM–3:30 PM

Resin Necklace or Ring Class | $90

Choose to create either a resin pendant necklace or a fully adjustable resin ring filled with your own curated combination of bones, botanicals, colors, and decorative elements.

4:00 PM–5:30 PM

Resin Magnet Class | $60

Create a one-of-a-kind decorative resin magnet using your choice of natural specimens, dried flowers, color dyes, glitter, gems, and other curious embellishments.

6:00 PM–7:30 PM

Resin Necklace or Ring Class | $90

Choose to create either a resin pendant necklace or a fully adjustable resin ring filled with your own curated combination of bones, botanicals, colors, and decorative elements.

Make a Day of It

Guests are welcome to book more than one workshop. Join us for a Magnet Class and return later for a Necklace or Ring Class to create a coordinating collection of resin curiosities.

When purchasing your tickets, please be sure to select a ticket for each individual workshop you would like to attend.

Choose Your Materials

Each guest will have access to a curated collection of natural specimens and decorative materials, which may include:

• Ethically sourced bones and shark teeth
• Rattlesnake vertebrae
• Coyote toe bones
• Dried flowers and botanical elements
• Color dyes
• Glitter
• Gems
• Decorative embellishments

Prefer a softer or more botanical aesthetic? Bones are completely optional. Guests are welcome to create floral, colorful, sparkling, or nature-inspired designs instead.

During the Necklace or Ring Class, guests may choose to create:

• A resin pendant necklace
• A fully adjustable resin ring

Once your design is complete, The Dead Moon Studio team will help finish your piece. Necklace creations will be assembled with a jump ring and chain before you leave.

Important Workshop Details

• Each workshop is approximately 90 minutes.
• All bones and specimens are ethically sourced.
• Ring bases are fully adjustable.
• Jewelry bezels are made from hypoallergenic alloy metals.
• Workshops use UV resin.
• Guests are welcome to apply sunscreen to their hands before working with UV resin, if desired.
• All supplies, tools, and materials are included.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Each session is limited to just 10 participants.
