Our company: History Alive, Inc. is currently casting for our show Cry Innocent: The People vs. Bridget Bishop. Cry Innocent runs every fall, and it’s the longest running play North of Boston.

The show: Bridget Bishop was the first person executed in the infamous Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Cry Innocent draws directly from the text of Bridget’s examination after she was accused of witchcraft and taken into custody. We present witness testimony, and audience members may ask their own questions of Bridget, the witnesses, and one of the magistrates (judges) who presided in 1692.
