About this Event

Celebrate the abundance of the growing season in this hands-on Pickling and Summer Preservation Workshop. Participants will learn simple techniques for preserving fresh garden harvests from Appleton Farms through quick pickling and introductory preservation methods. Together, we will create flavorful pickles, discuss food preservation basics, and discover ways to extend the life of summer’s harvest well beyond the garden season. Part of the Growing Together hands-on gardening series at Stevens-Coolidge House and Gardens, created in collaboration with Arianna Iappini of Birch Arbor Gardens. Designed for all experience levels. Space is limited — pre-registration required. Rain or shine.
