About this Event
Join us this homecoming with a question: Have you ever wondered about the first landing area of the colonists in Beverly? Then look no further than the Old Planter’s Path Walking Tour.
Located on and in the surrounding areas of the Cummings Center, learn all about the Old Planters who arrived in Beverly as part of Salem and what role this section of Beverly played in its early development, from Friend’s Mill to the Bass River and beyond!
Details with the walking tour starting location will be emailed the day before the tour. The tour route is approximately 1.6 miles long.
Image Caption: A photo of the Balch House in 1902, when it was still inhabited by tenants in two apartments. It’s one of our biggest stops on the tour!
