About this Event

As part of the Montserrat Galleries Curatorial Mentorship program, Reflections in the Long Night is a group exhibition organized by Curatorial Assistant Madeline McGann. The exhibition explores divergent queer realities and how the participating artists materialize the complexity of finding oneself within cultural heteronormativity and amidst the pressures of everyday life. This show proposes queerness as a driving force of empowerment through play, revelation, and dérive, felt in flickers of warmth where time and space move differently.

The exhibition features Laicee Blackwell, Tynan Byrne, Ivy Howard, Clare Tof Miryam, August Puplava, Frankie Symonds, Jake Wanamaker, and Henry Walls
