We’re less than two months from the start of the 25th Anniversary of Trails & Sails 2026, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 12.

We’re kicking off our countdown with a special proclamation event on Tuesday, July 28, from 9-10 a.m. at Armory Park, next to the Salem Armory Regional Visitor Center. Lt. Governor Driscoll, Salem’s Mayor Pangallo, along with other dignitaries will recognize the Essex National Heritage Area and the impact of Trails & Sails over the past 25 years.

Some site hosts are also planning to attend and will offer activities for a “taste of Trails & Sails 2026.” Kid-friendly!
