About This Event
Join us at CinemaSalem on Thursday, May 7, 2026 for the hometown premiere of Witch City — a brand-new comedy television pilot filmed entirely in downtown Salem and created by local powerhouse Allie Del Franco. Following a recent NYC screening where it took home Best Comedy Television Series, this 28-minute pilot lands in Theater One for a charming, chaotic, and slightly unhinged love letter to the Witch City.
About the Show
Witch City follows Bridget, a New Yorker who flees to Salem after a brutal break-up and lands a job at a failing tour guide company. To save it, she hires a roster of deranged comics and Halloween street performers — unleashing chaos on tourists and locals alike. Expect the kind of comedy that could only come from someone who actually lives here.
What to Expect
- Red Carpet Photo Op — Step onto the red carpet as doors open and mingle with cast, crew, and fellow Salem creatives.

- The Pilot Screening — A 28-minute introduction to the world of Witch City, projected in CinemaSalem’s Theater One.
- Q&A with Cast & Creator — Hear directly from Allie Del Franco and members of the cast about how the show came together — and how you can get involved with future episodes.
