Salem’s Black Hat Society (SBHS) was founded in October 2016 when Brian first started street performing for Haunted Happenings in Salem, MA as Borah Brewington Snaggletooth XIII. SBHS brings perpetually fun, positive, energy filled performances creating smiles, joy, happiness, good will AND a little magic to Salem, with proceeds from tips being donated to local children’s charities.
As a character witch, BORAH! roams the streets of Salem welcoming, entertaining and engaging with people and helping educate visitors about Salem’s rich history. SBHS also promotes local events, venues and the business community.
You may catch BORAH! singing Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, Christmas songs and national and international anthems. Borah is always ready to snap pictures with guests or break out into a crazy song and dance.
BORAH! can also be found officiating weddings and vow renewals around Salem.
