In your words… Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.

Essex Heritage is a federally designated heritage area and our mission is to enhance and preserve the natural, cultural, and historic resources in Essex County.

We love partnering with local organizations and finding ways that we can help support each other. Some of these include initiatives such as grant projects, education workshops, and public programming.

Essex Heritage also owns and operates Bakers Island Light Station, which provides many opportunities for volunteers and visitors.
