New England’s largest documentary, Salem Film Fest Returns to Salem for its 18th year, bringing together filmmakers, cinephiles, and community members for an unforgettable celebration of documentary storytelling. Salem Film Fest (SFF) 2025 will transform the historic city into a hub of documentary cinema from March 27 through March 30, 2025.
A Four-Day Documentary Experience
This year’s festival promises an enriching lineup of feature-length documentaries and carefully curated shorts programs across multiple historic venues, including the prestigious Peabody Essex Museum, Cinema Salem, and the National Park Service Visitor Center at Salem Armory.
“We’re excited to kick off another great year bringing an amazing slate of documentaries and their makers to Salem while enriching the community conversation about the issues presented in our films,” says SFF Festival Director Joe Ferrari.
