A Night of Documentary Celebration – Register Here

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 2, as Cinema Salem transforms into a hub of documentary excellence. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, attendees will experience an exclusive preview of this year’s carefully curated selection of compelling documentaries through captivating trailers and personal messages from the filmmakers.

The evening features an extra special treat – a screening of “DUKAKIS: RECIPE FOR DEMOCRACY,” directed by Program Emeritus Jeff Schmidt and former SFF jury member Erin Trahan. Following the film, audience members will be able to engage with the directors and composer Joel Roston (who also serves as an SFF programmer) in an enlightening Q&A session.

“The Program Reveal has become a cherished tradition that offers our audience a window into the exceptional documentaries we’ve selected this year,” shares Fest Director Joe Ferrari. Program Director Emily Abi-Kheirs adds, “We’re particularly excited to spotlight the achievements of our community members through Jeff and Erin’s new work.”
