About Salem Kids Tours

Salem Kids Tours is Salem’s only walking tour experience created specifically for kids and families. Founded in 2015 by Alicia Diozzi, a middle school history teacher, the tours use interactive storytelling to explore the real people and events of Salem’s past — including the Salem Witch Trials — in ways that are engaging, age-appropriate, and genuinely fun. For over a decade, families have described the experience as “the best thing we did in Salem.”

Our Experience with Salem Kids Tours

Alicia and her fellow certified teacher-guides bring decades of classroom experience directly to the streets of historic Salem. Furthermore, all guides are local residents who know the city’s history, hidden gems, and stories that never make it into textbooks. Tours are designed for ages 5 and up, run at an easy walking pace, and are crafted to captivate curious young minds while keeping adults equally engaged.
