A Christmas Carol: A Musical Ghost Story is North Shore Music Theatre’s original holiday adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, following Ebenezer Scrooge through a magical journey of redemption, hope, and the true spirit of Christmas.

The Beverly production runs December 3–23, 2026 and features traditional carols including “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Here We Come A-Wassailing,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The show runs approximately 2 hours 20 minutes including intermission and contains sudden loud noises, strobing, flashing and moving lights, stage fog, theatrical haze, and dark imagery. NSMT does not recommend it for young children, and children under 4 are not admitted.
