Lynn Celebrates Local Black Excellence: 12 Community Leaders Honored in Black History Month Display
The North Shore Juneteenth Association proudly announces its Local Black Excellence Display, featuring 12 distinguished honorees who exemplify leadership, achievement, and community service across Essex County. The exhibition, which showcases remarkable individuals from Lynn, Revere, and Salem, will open with a special celebration on February 4, 2025, at Lynn City Hall.
Celebrating Excellence in Our Community
These outstanding honorees represent the vibrant tapestry of Black excellence throughout Essex County. Each selected individual has demonstrated exceptional achievement in their career, made significant contributions to their community, or accomplished both. Their stories and images will be prominently displayed in the Lynn City Hall foyer throughout February, serving as an inspiration to current and future generations.
“Our mission is to highlight positive images of Black American culture and the diaspora,” explains the North Shore Juneteenth Association. “Through this exhibition, we’re not just celebrating individual achievements – we’re showcasing the ongoing positive contributions that various cultures bring to our community.”
