In a world increasingly divided by ideological boundaries, we’re excited to introduce a fresh opportunity for our community to come together, reflect, and engage through the power of film. The Lynn Music Foundation and Inc.ubate Coworking Lynn have joined forces to launch Civil Society Screenings—a monthly film series dedicated to exploring the conflicts that shape our world and the connections that can heal it.
A Cinematic Journey Through Conflict and Resolution
Beginning May 29th at the historic Neal Rantoul Vault Theatre in downtown Lynn, this FREE series invites neighbors from across Greater Boston and the North Shore to experience carefully selected films that examine conflict in its many forms—from family dynamics to political divides, cultural tensions to socioeconomic struggles.
What makes these screenings special isn’t just the films themselves, but the conversations they’ll spark. Each event creates space for meaningful dialogue, challenging us to think critically about our roles in building a more empathetic and just society.
Mark Your Calendars: 2025 Screening Schedule

“The Vault Theatre has always been a place for creative and civic engagement,” shared representatives from Inc.ubate and The Lynn Music Foundation. “With Civil Society Screenings, we hope to foster ongoing conversations that lead to real-world impact and local activism.”
In creating this series, we’re responding to something many of us feel—a hunger for meaningful connection and constructive dialogue around the issues that matter most. Rather than avoiding difficult topics, these screenings offer a structured way to engage with complexity through artistic expression.
