In this live stream, Jeannine O’Neil of Alice’s Table – Magnolia Blooms will show you two ways to create mini arrangements. We will be using easy-to-find ingredients around the house, yard, grocery store and/or garden center. We’re inviting every to make their own mariposas while reflecting on the role that migration has played in their life, whether personally, familially, or ancestrally. Above is a quick video about how to make a mariposa pin from recycled fabric. Other possible materials include cardboard, plastic water bottles, aluminum cans, and old magazines. Because we’re doing this to celebrate Earth Day, we encourage you to use recycled materials as much as possible!

To help connect us virtually this Earth Day, we encourage you to share on social media photos and images of how you marked the 50th anniversary, using the hashtag #EarthDayAtHome. This could be a picture of a special science activity, an original work of art you created, the tree outside your window, or whatever inspires you.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Civana Foundation is launching the Earth Day Unified Planet (UP) Festival on Wednesday, April 22. This will be a free, full-day global immersive experience focused on wellness, impact, and arts. The Celebration is bringing together leaders in environmental impact, community building, transformative innovation, and mindfulness to reimagine and catalyze change on a planetary scale.
