About this Event
We will walk you through it step by step. Bring a lunch if you want. 🙂
Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly, one-hour tutorial covering the podcast editing process step by step.
We will screen-share and walk through a sample episode from start to finish, including:
- Organizing and managing your podcast files
- Importing video and audio
- Making basic cuts and edits
- Cleaning up and balancing your audio
- Working with a video podcast timeline
- Adding basic graphics/titles
- Exporting and preparing your finished episode
You do not need to have your own podcast or footage to attend. You can simply watch the demonstration, take notes, and ask questions along the way.
Already have an episode you’re working on? Feel free to bring your own laptop and footage. After the workshop, you’re welcome to stay and continue editing independently if workspace is available.
Need a little help while you work?
BevCam members can receive up to three quick staff check-ins while editing independently. These are great for troubleshooting a specific issue or getting pointed in the right direction.
For more intensive help, dedicated one-on-one Podcast Editing Sessions are also available for anyone who wants an instructor beside them for the full hour, walking through their own episode step by step. Reach out to Amanda@bevcam.org for rates and with questions.
Beginner-friendly | Adults & Teens 16+
$5 BevCam Members / $10 Nonmembers
Feel free to bring lunch! Please keep food and drinks away from editing stations and equipment.
