In your words… Tell us about your organization, business, initiative.
I am a self-taught artist, born and raised in Transylvania. I currently reside in Billerica, MA. I create unique and intricate pieces of art that can be worn as necklaces, head jewelry, bracelets, earrings, etc. I use a variation of mediums-clay, paper, fabric, stones, etc- to create bold and unique designs. My creations are one-of-kind, hand-made pieces that bear an intricate and contemporary feel.
Tell us a bit about you and why you do what you do? Share your passions for your business, initiative, organization.
I began my creative journey early on back in my home country of Romania. Fascinated by nature and originality, I felt compelled to find beauty and artistry within the country’s bleak communist society. As a Transylvanian, self-taught artist, I creatively explore the notion of contradiction through my floral and jewelry designs. My creations exhibit simple, minimalistic shapes contrasted by bold, rich textures and elaborate compositions.
My intuitive design process offers insight into my own perception of the world. There is a strong component of storytelling within my work that leaves viewers to use their imagination.
I innovatively use a variation of mediums to create bold and curvaceous designs. What ends up transpiring are one-of-a-kind, hand-made pieces that bear an intricate and contemporary feel.
What role do you think your business plays in supporting a more creative community? OR your community in general. (Bonus! Why do you think a more creative community is important?)
Creativity is bound to culture. I think that a foreign experience and the experience of adapting to a foreign culture can boosted creativity in a community.
What was the last book you read OR What was the last video you watched that made an impact on you?

What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you or your business?
I don’t get the concept of boredom. I am never bored.
