North Shore CDC is a leading community development organization serving Massachusetts’ North Shore region since 1978. Founded on principles of community engagement and social justice, we transform neighborhoods through affordable housing development, youth empowerment, and innovative public art initiatives. Our mission is to invest in neighborhoods to create thriving communities where every area is one of choice and opportunity.

Our portfolio includes 474 affordable apartments across Salem, Beverly, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Gloucester, with 195 more units in development. We specialize in sustainable, energy-efficient housing that serves diverse populations from youth to seniors.
