Moreover, by removing financial barriers, the festival ensures every family can participate fully.

Youth Development & Workforce Readiness

Salem Summer Jam works year-round to open doors for young people. Teen job resources, workforce readiness events, and scholarship fundraising give youth real tools and connections. Additionally, programs are designed to reach young people from diverse backgrounds who may not always have access to these opportunities. The goal is simple: help teens discover their potential and prepare for the future.

Autism-Inclusive Programming

Inclusion is central to everything Salem Summer Jam does. Programs are designed to support children with autism and their families. Moreover, the organization believes every person deserves a space to be seen, supported, and valued. Each event is built with that intention in mind. Consequently, inclusive design isn’t an afterthought — it’s a foundation.

Veteran Engagement

Salem Summer Jam honors veterans and their families through job resources, community programming, and scholarship support. Meanwhile, the organization’s founder brings firsthand military experience to this work. That perspective ensures veteran programming is relevant, thoughtful, and built around real needs.
