Hello, I am Lisa Kawski she her hers. I operate and own sound healing for the soul, LMK interiors, and I’m a partner in Nada Brahma Kirtan.
I actually was at a gathering. And I was asked to play a quartz crystal bowl as part of the meditation for this gathering. And up until that time I had heard them, but I had never touched one. And when it was my time to stroke the bowl all of a sudden, it was an out of body, in body experience of just… energy came flooding through into me.
And I’d have to say that was the moment at that point in time. I knew it meant something. But I also didn’t know where it was going to take me. So I had purchased my sound healing bowl and a set of Koschi chimes and an OSHA drum. And I had posted something on my Facebook feed showing that and a friend that is the healer and had a studio said: ‘You must come share this with me.’
And I went over and all I had was those instruments. And she said we’ve got to do something. So as she was the catalyst for beginning my Sound Healing Sessions, and we teamed up she would do a guided meditation. And I can’t believe it today with the amount of instruments I have. But with those few instruments, people would lay for an hour and have a soothing sound bath and come back month after month after month. And now I’m offering them in my studio once a month. And if people can’t come on that day and request a different day, they’re welcome to set another time.
I’m trained as an interior designer, I never saw myself in the healing modality. But somehow I followed the path and I trusted and so for me to offer the advice again to my younger self would have been trust what feels right and just go with it. And there’s really no mistakes. Especially if you’re helping people. I think that was the key for me was really connecting with people in another way at this point in my career.
